General/Parking
where and when is ferryfest?
Ferryfest is on 25th May 2025 at Briton Ferry Rugby Club, Ynysymaerdy Road, Briton Ferry, SA11 2TL.
whAT ARE THE OPENING AND CLOSING TIMES?
Ferryfest gates at Briton Ferry Rugby Club open at 11AM and the field will close at 11PM.
Please note the pram parade starts at 10AM at Vernon Place Community Hub and will walk through certain streets of Briton Ferry.
The route will be announced on our website and social media prior to the event.
Where can i park?
Carreg Hir Primary School car park will be open for Ferryfest attendees, this is on a first come first serve basis. Pre-booking is not available.
There is also on street parking around the Rugby Club.
Please note, Ferryfest is not responsible for any vehicles left unattended on street parking, or in the Carreg Hir Primary School car park.
Is there any disability parking?
Yes, there is a certain amount of disability parking spaces at the rugby club. A "Blue Badge" disability badge will need to be shown to security for access.
Pram Parade
How do I enter the pram parade?
Contact a committee member to get a form or you can download the form here.
Does it cost to enter the pram parade?
Yes, it costs £20 to enter and that includes the entry of the pram itself and 4 members. For any additional members it will cost an extra £2 per person.
What time do PARTICIPANTS need to be there on sunday morning?
Your pram will need to register by 10AM Sunday morning latest, there will be a committee member in a Ferryfest t-shirt that will be able to register you. The parade will be leaving at 10:30AM.
Where can SPECTATORS stand to see the pram parade?
The route will be released prior to the event. If any part of the route is on your street you will receive a letter of notice from Ferryfest two weeks prior to the event as your road will be closed during the parade.
Tickets
I can no longer make ferryfest, can i sell my ticKET(S)?
No, tickets are non refundable and non-transferable. Please do not buy any tickets off people online, official Ferryfest tickets are only purchaseable via our website or in person from a committee member.
Ferryfest reserves the right to reject entry for re-sold tickets.
What age range are the children tickets for?
Children aged 3 or under enter for free. Children aged 4 - 17 can purchase a children's ticket. Please note, if anyone under the age of 18 tries to purchase an adult ticket, they will be ID'd prior to the purchase.
How do I buy the children's activity wriSTBAND?
These will be sold on the day at the Ferryfest stall (this will be clearly sign posted).
Restrictions
Can i put up my gazebo the day before ferryfest?
No. If you are attending Ferryfest and want to put your own gazebo up, this can be done when you arrive on the day only.
Can I bring glass bottles?
No. Due to health and safety restrictions on the rugby ground, any form of glass is prohibited. Security on site will bag search all attendees before entering to ensure this is adhered to.
are dogs & Other Pets allowed?
As much as we love dogs, they are not permitted at Ferryfest. (Excludes assistance dogs)
Food/Drink
Will there be any food or drink facilities?
Yes, Ferryfest has a wide range of local food vendors attending. The rugby club bar will also be open, alongside outdoor bars. Hot drinks can be purchased at the rugby club. A full list of our food vendors can be found on our Line Up page.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
While there will be plenty of facilities on site to purchase alcohol, adults can bring their own limited supply of alcohol for personal consumption.
Please do not try to bring in multiple crates as this will not be allowed.
No glass is permitted on site and will be confiscated during the bag search on entry.
If you leave the site and try to return with more alcohol, this will be checked by security also and confiscated.
Will there be any vegetarian / vegan / gluten-free options available?
Yes, we always try to ensure there is enough facilities to cater for everyone. You may also bring in your own food, but please be mindful on how much you are bringing.

I'm attending ferryfest as a stall holder, HOW BIG IS my pitch?
A standard pitch size for stall holders is 3m x 3m, unless you pay for extra space. Please note this is an outside event so gazebo's are recommended.
